Pinot Bianco Zuc di Volpe 2010: a true racehorse
The AIES, Italian Food and Wine Sommelier Association, of Bologna makes a very nice review of our Pinot Bianco di Volpe Zuc 2010 defined as a wine that to a great structure adds a strong and full body that can give the best of itself for several years to come. A true race horse!

On the November issue of the Gambero Rosso magazine a nice article entirely dedicated to the wines that have received top honors in the Vini d’Italia 2013 Guide published by Gambero Rosso. Among the major international grape varieties that gave wines of extraordinary finesse and elegance there were cabernet, merlot and sauvignon, with the Sauvignon Zuc di Volpe 2011, which was awarded the prize of White of the Year.

The well-known bimonthly magazine in German language Merum, completely dedicated to Italian wines and olive oils, in the October/November 2012 issue offers a review of Friuli wines. One of these is our Sauvignon Zuc di Volpe 2011 that gets the score as two hearts to indicate a “very good wine, which we would like to have a little stock in the cellar”. The Sauvigon Zuc di Volpe 2011 was also one of the wines selected for the Merum DeguBox, a special box of wines with a selection of the 12 best wines of Friuli available on order for the Merum readers.

In the October issue of the Italian magazine Capital, on the wine page the popular journalist Bruno Vespa proposes an article all focused on eight Pinot Bianco. Among the wines proposed to the public there is also the Pinot Bianco Zuc di Volpe which is referred as a wine with a fragrant personality.

Also this year the committees of the Gambero Rosso hosted at the ERSA (the Regional Agency for Agricultural Development) headquarter Villa Sabadini in Pozzuolo del Friuli have made a truly immense job. Of the 215 companies evaluated for a total of 1,500 wines tasted blind, 194 companies have also found a place in the pages of the 2013 Gambero Rosso guide. The wines awarded with the Three Glasses have been as many as 27. Of these one was precisely the Sauvignon Zuc di Volpe 2011, also elected the White of the Year.
