The Minute Maid Park of Houston, Texas has been the frame for the Gambero Rosso Top Italian Wines RoasShow. The event attracted many people and for Volpe Pasini in particular has been a real success with a large turnout of all contacts of the new national importer Diageo Chateau & Estate Wine Company.
We are very happy to inform you that our Sauvignon Zuc di Volpe 2013 has obtained the highest recognition from VITAE, the 1st edition of the Guida ai Vini d’Italia edited directly by AIS (=Association of Italian Sommeliers). This new guide that will be a useful tool for work and reference for all wine lovers and for the more than 30,000 members AIS (=Association of Italian Sommeliers), was made possible thanks to the collaboration of 22 regional associations and 162 local delegations who identify themselves with the common belonging to the Association of Italian Sommeliers.
Now in its sixteenth edition, the book BIBENDA 2015 Guide to the Best Wines, Grappas and Restaurants of Italy, a reference text for professionals, enthusiasts and communicators in the world of wine and food, this year has reviewed 1.700 companies for a total of 25.000 wines described. We just got the results, and also in this case the Sauvignon Zuc di Volpe has shined getting the 5 Grappoli (=5 Clusters), an award given to the wines of excellence that have obtained a score between 91 and 100 point.
Not only 1 but 3 are the awards that this year the Slow Wine 2015 guide has decided to assign to our company and for which we are extremely proud: the Sauvignon Zuc di Volpe 2013 has been awarded also this year as “Grande Vino (=Great Wine)”, the Friulano Volpe Pasini 2013 has been selected as “Vino Quotidiano (=Daily Wine)” and the company has been awarded once again with the “Bottiglia (=Bottle)” which is the recognition given to those companies that have expressed an excellent average quality on all the bottles produced.
